Stretchy Lizard

Ethan got a stretchy rubber lizard from a coin machine. He stretched it too far and a hand broke off. He was heart broken and crying. He asked if we could glue it back. I explained to him that it would break at the glue spot if we tried that. He was really really sad. About five minutes later he said in a tearful voice, "Mom, I can't make myself happy." Sweet Ethan.
